I’m glad you’re here! This site for you.
I meet a lot of addicted people where I work as a correctional chaplain, so I’ve created this site to help to my friends who tasted real freedom by walking on the spiritual path while still in jail. This site is my way to highlight resources that can help our healing journey.
I’ve been walking (and sometimes stumbling) on the path that leads to full recovery, healing and abundant life. My prayer is that you will find additional help as you grow spiritually and enjoy true freedom from addiction.
To help you on your journey, this website points to some handy resources for your phone and in our community. There’s a lot of great stuff out there if we use it. As good as these resources are, they are helpful only if we are willing to to walk along the healing path where our Creator walks with us.
Our problems are personal and spiritual and they require personal and spiritual solutions. There are countless recovery methods, but the single most successful is described in The Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.
The Steps were developed from the practices of a Christian movement that was seeking to experience a simple yet profound life with God. I can’t encourage you enough to use the Twelve Steps, especially Steps 1, 2 and 3, as a guide for healing, growth and true happiness.
We all know it’s a matter of life or death; please choose life, connect daily and our Creator will heal and bless you. (Continued below image.)
There are links here to a ton of free resources — online, in person and downloadable apps for your phone — to help you on your recovery journey.
Meeting other people in person is an essential part of recovery and life itself, so take full advantage of groups like AA and NA — there are links to both under “Recovery Tool Belt” in the menu.
And remember to check out some local churches — you’re sure to find one that will be full of great people like you.
